Pray Morning Comes

I wake to the sound of exploding shells
They’ve even blown our church to hell
We get down on our knees on Sunday
And pray morning comes
I haven’t seen my dad for weeks
My mother hardly ever speaks
It’s hard to turn the other cheek
And pray morning comes
(chorus)
And the dreams you seem to take for granted
Are at times the only thing we own
We have to take our fate into our own hands
It takes more than faith to reap the seeds we’ve sown
Our history in the records hall
Today it was a fiery ball
As the embers glow and evening falls
I pray morning comes
The soccer field is all but filled
With those of us who have been killed
Every day more blood gets spilled
Still, I pray morning comes
(chorus)
The darkness has become my friend
It seems the night will never end
I want to be a kid again
‘Till then, I pray morning comes

Something of a meditative flow that feels more important than whatever he is playing at a given moment. Occasional monolithic phrases and delicate shaping of feedback sculpt time. errantzephyr

An incredible Artist, Noveller paints with sounds using pedals and settings as colours and Brushes and the guitar as the Canvas. Arrow is a wonderful journey every single track takes you somewhere. Airfoilelfmen

Another stellar release from this long-lived ensemble. Though the King Crimson influence is obvious & that comparison unavoidable, these guys have made many great recordings that can't be categorized as 'mere copies'. The perfect balance of aggressive riffing and serene soundscapes. Stephen Roberts
